Severe Weather Expected Throughout Hernando, Pasco, and Citrus

REGIONAL – There is a high risk for severe weather today as a front moves across the area.

Officials say strong thunderstorms with damaging winds between 60 and 80 mph can be expected.

There is the threat of tornados, coastal flooding, and large hail up to 1” in diameter.

There have already been reports of a small brush fire and live power lines down across US 98.

RNRF will bring more on any breaking weather related news as it develops.
