DEVELOPING: Police Officer Injured Hit and Run, Airlifted to Trauma Center – UPDATE

UPDATE: 12/3/2017, 12:04 A.M. – The following is a statement from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office: Pasco deputies are searching for the suspect vehicle in tonight’s hit and run near State Street and Moceri Avenue in Dade City that injured a Dade City Police officer around 10pm.
The vehicle is described as a mid-size sedan that is light in color, such as white, silver or gray. It also struck another vehicle while fleeing and should have front driver-side damage with blue paint transfer on it.
Anyone who sees such a vehicle should call 911 immediately.
UPDATE: 11:46 P.M. – There are unconfirmed report that the suspect’s vehicle is a grey car with bullet holes in the rear and damage to the front. The suspect is possibly a black male.
DADE CITY (PASCO) – Information is still developing but officials have confirmed that a Dade City Police Officer was struck by a vehicle in the area of State Street.
Sources say the Officer was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment but his condition is unknown at this time.
